Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the website, platform, and services offered by the Innovative Scholars and Researchers Alliance ("ISRA," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using our website, applying for membership, participating in our programs, or otherwise utilizing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ISRA regarding your use of our website, platform, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use our Services, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract with ISRA. If you are accessing or using our Services on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization or entity to these Terms.

3. Membership

3.1 Membership Application

ISRA offers membership to qualified scholars, researchers, and students. Membership is subject to application and approval by ISRA. We reserve the right to reject any membership application at our sole discretion.

3.2 Membership Categories

ISRA offers the following membership categories:

• Student Membership: Available to individuals currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution.
• Researcher Membership: Available to professionals actively engaged in academic or scientific research.

3.3 Membership Fees

Membership fees are set by ISRA and may be changed from time to time. The current membership fee is $10 per year. Membership fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. Failure to pay membership fees may result in termination of your membership.

3.4 Member Conduct

As a member of ISRA, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during the application process and keep your account information updated
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Adhere to the highest standards of academic integrity and research ethics
• Respect the intellectual property rights of others
• Comply with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations

4. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. ISRA will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

5. User Content

5.1 Content Ownership

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on or through our Services ("User Content"). By submitting, posting, or displaying User Content, you grant ISRA a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such User Content for the purpose of providing and promoting the Services.

5.2 Content Restrictions

You may not submit, post, or display any User Content that:

• Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property rights of any person
• Violates any law, regulation, or contractual obligation
• Is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, invasive of privacy, or promotes discrimination, bigotry, racism, or hatred
• Contains software viruses or any other code designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware
• Constitutes unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, junk or bulk email ("spamming"), chain letters, or any other form of unauthorized solicitation
• Contains personal information about others without their consent

5.3 Content Monitoring

ISRA has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor, edit, or remove any User Content. ISRA takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any User Content posted by you or any third party.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 ISRA Property

The Services and their contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by ISRA or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

6.2 Limited License

Subject to these Terms, ISRA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include any resale or commercial use of the Services or its contents.

6.3 Restrictions

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Services, except as permitted by these Terms
• Use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering or extraction methods
• Use the Services in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site or interfere with any other party's use of the Services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the Services, the server on which the Services are stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the Services

7. Research and Publication Ethics

ISRA is committed to promoting the highest standards of research and publication ethics. As a member, you agree to adhere to these standards, including:

• Honesty in reporting research methods and results
• Objectivity and impartiality in research design, analysis, and interpretation
• Proper attribution and citation of others' work
• Disclosure of potential conflicts of interest
• Protection of human subjects and respect for privacy and confidentiality
• Responsible sharing of research data and materials

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ISRA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND TITLE.

ISRA DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICES OR THE SERVER THAT MAKES THEM AVAILABLE ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ISRA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICES; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICES; (C) ANY CONTENT OBTAINED FROM THE SERVICES; OR (D) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL ISRA'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICES EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO ISRA FOR MEMBERSHIP DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE DATE ON WHICH THE CLAIM AROSE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ISRA and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise from or relate to (a) your use of the Services; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of another.

11. Termination

ISRA may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.

All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiations, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Aydın, Turkey.

13. Changes to These Terms

ISRA may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on our website with the effective date. If we make changes that we believe are material, we will notify you by email or through the Services. By continuing to access or use the Services after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and ISRA regarding the Services and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, proposals, or representations, written or oral, concerning the Services.
